The Democracy Resource Center (DRC) was established as part of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) in 1994. Its mission is to collect, organize, and disseminate information and analysis produced by and about the wide range of groups and organizations working to strengthen democracy around the world.

The DRC has two main components. The first is a library and archives that holds more than 20,000 works collected over the past 25 years from NED grantees and other sources. The second componant are resource guides and databases on the web sites of the NED and the World Movement for Democracy.

This is the blog for the Democracy Resource Center (DRC). Information posted in this blog can be found in the DRC Research Bulletin, a monthly e-newsletter created by the DRC for Endowment staff and research fellows.
