Guatemala’s Elections: Clean Polls, Dirty Politics
Guatemalans go to the polls in September 2011 to elect a president, the Congress and local officials. The vote itself is likely to be reasonably free, but violence and unregulated campaign finance imperil the country’s political institutions. Source: International Crisis Group

Mapping Digital Media: Mexico
The Mapping Digital Media project examines the global opportunities and risks created by the transition from traditional to digital media. Mexico is one of the 15 largest economies worldwide, yet only 15 percent of households own a digital device and less than a third have a computer. Source: Open Society Foundations
