The Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize
The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation invites nominations for the Humanitarian Prize, which is awarded annually to an organisation making extraordinary contributions toward alleviating human suffering. The competition carries a cash prize of US$1.5 million. Deadline: 29 April 2011.

ICNL Research Fellowship
The International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL), with the generous funding support of the SIDA, is pleased to announce the availability of 4 research fellowships. The fellowships will provide the opportunity to travel to ICNLs offices in Washington, DC, or Budapest, Hungary, for three to four weeks to conduct research on the legal framework for civil society. Deadline: 31 March 2011

John Humphrey Award
Rights & Democracy invites nominations for the 2011 John Humphrey Award for outstanding achievement in the promotion of democratic development and respect for human rights, by an organization or individual. The Award consists of a $30,000 grant and a speaking tour of Canadian cities to increase public awareness of the laureate’s work. Deadline: 30 April 2011
