The study was designed and implemented cooperatively between Project Ploughshares and World Vision staff. While it is not a formal, external evaluation, it offers some provisional and comparative observations about World Vision peacebuilding and development practices and their relationship to reductions in armed violence. The research findings are presented using the “armed violence lens” created for the Development Assistance Committee of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD-DAC).
