It also presents a comprehensive analysis of the economic, social and political developments on the continent. It was presented in Maputo (Mozambique) at the 43rd African Development Bank Annual Meetings, on May 11, and launched in Paris at the Centre d’Accueil de la Presse Etrangère (CAPE), on May 13. The AEO will be presented to the public in Paris, at the 8th International Forum on African Perspectives, on June 27. Now in its seventh year, the AEO is the only report on Africa which applies a common analytical framework to every country, every year. Produced by the OECD Development Centre, the African Development Bank and, for the first time this year, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the AEO is the essential reference on Africa. It benefits from the support of the European Commission. The detailed statistics, tables and charts contained in the report are available via the StatLinks printed in the book (EXCEL™). Country Notes, Major Findings (PDFs), and Statistical Annex. Full report available for purchase. Hat tip: UN Pulse.
